Mumbai, July 2 -- MCX Gold futures are currently trading flat at Rs 144480 per 10 grams. The counter witnessed heavy volatility during the session with highs around Rs 144800-144700 per 10 grams capping upside. Earlier in the session, the metal had tanked near a low of Rs 143800 per 10 grams. COMEX Gold is flat around $4080 per ounce as markets are waiting for the release of US nonfarm payrolls data. MCX Silver is up 0.46% at Rs 231444 per kg.
