Mumbai, May 29 -- Indian equity markets witnessed a highly volatile week, with benchmark indices ending lower after three consecutive sessions of decline. The week began on a strong note as easing crude oil prices and optimism over a possible US-Iran peace deal triggered broad-based buying, pushing the Nifty above 24,000.
