Japans 10-year bond yields soften ahead of BOJ meet
Mumbai, July 28 -- Falling crude oil prices and softening US yields are pulling Japan's 10-year government bond yield this week. The yields had moved up above 2.80% on Friday - reaching a two-week top. However, Japan's 10-year government bond yield lingers around 2.76% on Tuesday as investors looked ahead to the Bank of Japan's policy meeting this week. While the central bank is expected to keep the door open to additional rate hikes to contain inflationary pressures, yields are being curbed due to sustained slide in crude oil prices which have pulled back to one-week low.
