Mumbai, Nov. 2 -- The domestic equity benchmarks ended with major gains on Monday, extending their winning streak to a third consecutive session. The rally was supported by declining crude oil prices, strong Q2 earnings from Reliance Industries and Jio Platforms, and renewed foreign investor buying supported the rally. Weakness in global AI-linked stocks further supported Indian equities. The Nifty ended above the 23,400 level.

Oil& gas, consumer durables and metal shares advanced while media, IT and private bank shares declined.
