India's 10-year bond yield hits highest in two and half years
Mumbai, Sept. 28 -- India's 10-year G sec yields neared 7.20% mark, adding to recent uptick amid sustained push higher for global yields and a rebound in crude oil prices. US 10-year treasury yields zoomed to 5.20%, holding around two-decade high. WTI Crude oil futures are also up 3.30% at $95.49 per barrel and domestic yields are currently at 7.18%, hitting highest mark in two and half years. The month end data on India's government finances is due this week and will be followed by goods and services tax collection data.
