India's 10-year bond yield hits four-month high of 7.10%
Mumbai, Sept. 15 -- The yield on India's 10-year bond broke above 7% mark and hit 7.10%, reaching near four-month highs as the RBI's planned INR 1 lakh crore bond sales, sharp spike in crude oil prices, elevated global yields, and growing expectations of further monetary tightening weighed on demand for government debt. India's August inflation jumped to 4.82% from 4.45% in July, hitting its highest since December 2024.
