Mumbai, Oct. 14 -- The company's profit after tax increased 26.5% YoY to Rs 760 crore in H1 FY27. Value of New Business (VNB) rose 22.3% to Rs 1,283 crore, with a VNB margin of 26%.

For Q2 FY27, standalone profit after tax increased 25.1% YoY to Rs 374 crore, compared with Rs 299 crore in Q2 FY26, while it declined 3.1% QoQ from Rs 386 crore in Q1 FY27.

Net premium earned increased 16.5% YoY and 41.6% QoQ to Rs 13,804 crore in Q2 FY27. Total income rose 0.9% YoY but declined 57.7% QoQ to Rs 12,100 crore, reflecting a sharp sequential decline in investment income. Investment income declined from Rs 18,763 crore in Q1 FY27 to a loss of Rs 1,773 crore in Q2 FY27.
