Mumbai, Aug. 31 -- Hindustan Zinc Ltd fell 4.2% today to trade at Rs 595.6. The BSE Metal index is down 1.52% to quote at 42316.21. The index is up 3.37 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, National Aluminium Company Ltd decreased 2.31% and Hindalco Industries Ltd lost 2.24% on the day. The BSE Metal index went up 39.25 % over last one year compared to the 3.36% fall in benchmark SENSEX. Hindustan Zinc Ltd has added 10.43% over last one month compared to 3.37% gain in BSE Metal index and 1.23% drop in the SENSEX.
