Mumbai, Sept. 9 -- The Government accepted Rs 22,800 crore through competitive bids in the auction of 91-day, 182-day and 364-day Treasury Bills conducted on 09 September 2026. Non-competitive bids worth Rs 5,810 crore were also accepted, taking total accepted bids to Rs 28,610 crore.

The notified amount for the auction was Rs 24,000 crore, comprising Rs 9,000 crore of 91-day Treasury Bills, Rs 8,000 crore of 182-day bills and Rs 7,000 crore of 364-day bills.

The 91-day Treasury Bills received competitive bids worth Rs 37,880.70 crore from 120 bids. The Government accepted Rs 8,550 crore through 40 bids at a cut-off yield of 5.2089%. The weighted average yield stood at 5.1916%.
