Mumbai, Sept. 30 -- The British pound rebounded from a three-month low on Wednesday following the release of the final UK GDP data which reported that the UK economy grew by 0.5% in the second quarter of 2026. This is an upward revision from the initial estimate of 0.4% and increasing case for a BoE rate hike. The US Dollar on the other hand, is pressured by retreating US bond yields amid the overnight fall in crude oil prices to a three-week low and offers additional support to the GBP/USD pair. The GBP/USD pair is currently quoting at $1.3276, up 0.32% on the day and a one-week high. Still, the pound fell 2% against the dollar over the month. On the NSE, GBP/INR futures are trading at 127.48, almost flat on the day.
