Mumbai, Aug. 19 -- Mahanagar Gas (up 3.52%), Indraprastha Gas (IGL) (up 3.71%), Confidence Petroleum India (up 4.12%), Petronet LNG (up 1.74%) and Adani Total Gas (up 2.56%) advanced.

The scheme, effective from 1 September 2026, incentivises CGD companies to convert unbilled PNG connections into active billed connections and expand their domestic PNG network into new areas. The initiative is aimed at accelerating household access to cleaner, safer and affordable piped cooking gas.
