Mumbai, Oct. 13 -- Crude oil moved higher on Monday amid persistent Middle East supply risks. Prices had slipped earlier on prospects for increased Russian diesel supplies and a potential Russia-Ukraine energy ceasefire. However, lows around $90 per barrel capped losses for WTI futures and the commodity eventually ended up more than 2% on the day. Prices slipped in Asia today though as a volatile movment continued ahead of monthly updates from IEA and OPEC. WTI oil is down 1.5% at $92.50 a barrel. MCX crude oil futures closed up marginally at Rs 8983 per barrel as strength in Indian Rupee capped upside..
