Mumbai, Oct. 5 -- WTI crude oil stayed on downward track in early Asia on Monday after G7 nations reportedly agreed to release 100 million barrels of crude and diesel from emergency reserves, pledging to avoid energy export restrictions following pressure from US President Donald Trump. Moreover, the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies (OPEC+) to maintain steady production targets for November. Currently, the counter is trading lower by over 1% at $89.98 per barrel whereas Brent crude oil is also weaker by 0.8% at $101.43 per barrel.
