Mumbai, Sept. 11 -- The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) stated in its monthly report released on Thursday that global economic growth forecasts remained unchanged at 3% for 2026 and 3.2% for 2027.
On a national level, GDP growth forecasts for 2026 and 2027 also remained steady from previous assessments: the US is projected at 2.2% and 2%, the Eurozone at 0.8% and 1%, China at 4.6% and 4.5%, and Russia at 1.1% and 1.5%. Additionally, growth estimates for Japan, India, and Brazil remained unchanged at 0.7%, 6.6%, and 2% for 2026, and 0.8%, 6.5%, and 2.2% for 2027, respectively.
