Mumbai, Oct. 21 -- The United States added an average of 18,500 jobs per week in the four weeks ending October 3, 2026, according to a preliminary report by Automatic Data Processing Inc. (ADP) released on Tuesday.
The figure decreased from the previous week's average weekly growth of 24,750, while the monthly report previously showed that private payrolls in the US rose by 90,000 in September on a monthly basis, exceeding expectations.
