Mumbai, Aug. 27 -- Personal consumption expenditures (PCE) in the United States rose by 0.2% in July compared to June, the Bureau of Economic Analysis said in a report on Wednesday. Personal income grew by 0.4%, while disposable personal income added 0.5%.
The PCE price index, the inflation gauge preferred by the Federal Reserve, increased by 0.2% month-on-month and 3.7% on a yearly basis, unchanged from June's rate. Core PCE inflation, excluding food and energy, stood at 0.2% on a monthly basis and 3.3% annually.
