Mumbai, July 7 -- The United States' service sector activity expanded at a slower pace in June, the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) said on Monday. The Services Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) came in at 54%, down from May's 54.5%.
The Business Activity Index decreased to 54.4% from 57.7%, while the New Orders Index declined to 55.1% from 57.3%. The Employment Index expanded for the first time in four months at 51.2%, compared to 47.9% in May. Supplier Deliveries fell to 54.4% from 55.2%.
