Mumbai, Aug. 17 -- Business inventories in the United States remained largely unchanged in June compared to May, according to a report by the Census Bureau published on Friday. The inventories were estimated at $2,740.2 billion. Compared to June 2025, business inventories grew by 3%.

The combined value of distributive trade sales and manufacturers' shipments was $2,111.3 billion in June, falling by 1.1% month-on-month and up 10% annually. The total business inventories/sales ratio at the end of June was 1.3, down from 1.39 a year ago.
