Mumbai, April 16 -- According to the Office for National Statistics, UK services output rose by 0.5% in the three months to February 2026 compared with the previous three-month period.
Growth was seen in 10 of the 14 service sectors, led by wholesale and retail trade, which increased by 1.4%, and information and communication, which rose by 1.6%. However, 4 sectors declined, with administrative and support service activities falling by 0.8% being the main drag.
On a monthly basis, services output also increased by 0.5% in February 2026, following gains of 0.1% in January and 0.3% in December 2025.
