Mumbai, Aug. 13 -- The Conference Board Leading Economic Index (LEI) for the United Kingdom slipped by 0.4% in June 2026 to 74.4 (2016=100), after decreasing by 0.4% in May. As a result, the UK LEI contracted by 1.8% over the first half of 2026, around double the rate of decline compared to the 0.9% decrease observed over the second half of 2025.
