Mumbai, Sept. 30 -- The United Kingdom's gross domestic product (GDP) rose by 0.5% in the second quarter of 2026 compared to the previous quarter, the country's Office for National Statistics (ONS) revealed in its final report published on Wednesday.
Services output rose by 0.6% in the reported quarter, down from a revised increase of 0.7% in the previous trimester. At the same time, production declined by 0.1% in the reported period, while construction grew by 0.8% in the three months to June.
On an annual basis, the UK's GDP growth in 2025 was revised down from the first estimate, landing at 1.2%.
