Mumbai, July 24 -- Japan's private sector activity expanded in July, led by an increase in manufacturing production, Friday's Flash PMI data by S&P Global showed.

The composite index went up from 52.8 in the previous month to 53.1 in July. Services activity edged down from last month's 52.2 to 51.9, while manufacturing came in at 54.7 in July compared to the previous month's 54.8
