Mumbai, Aug. 19 -- Japan's core machinery orders, an indicator of future business spending, rose 9.7% in June from the previous month, rebounding from a 12.4% drop in May, the Cabinet Office said.
Core orders were 16.9% higher from a year earlier.
Manufacturing orders jumped 19.9%, while non-manufacturing orders excluding ships and electric power increased 4.5%.
