Mumbai, Aug. 25 -- Reserve Bank of India (RBI) stated in its latest monthly bulletin that the global economy is navigating through a fragile and uncertain environment shaped by geopolitical and trade-related uncertainties. The temporary ceasefire in West Asia proved to be short- lived, with occasional hostilities resuming in July. The West Asia conflict remains a challenge to the supply chains of oil and other key commodities, and is weighing on business confidence. The new US tariffs compounded the uncertainty to international trade. Despite this, the global economy is expanding, though with inflationary pressures.
