Mumbai, Aug. 7 -- Germany's trade surplus narrowed to €15.4 billion in June 2026 from €19.3 billion in May, as imports grew faster than exports. Exports rose 0.9% month-on-month to a near four-year high of €139.3 billion, despite a sharp 14.1% plunge in shipments to the US. Meanwhile, imports jumped 2.4% to €123.9 billion, driven by stronger purchases from EU countries and a 9.1% rise in imports from China.
