Mumbai, Sept. 8 -- The German trade surplus amounted to €21.3 billion in July, up from the adjusted €15.4 billion recorded in June and the €16.8 billion recorded in July 2025, the country's Federal Statistical Office, Destatis, revealed in a report on Tuesday.
The country's calendar- and seasonally adjusted exports stood at €138.2 billion, decreasing 0.8% on a monthly level and up 6.1% year-over-year. Imports stood at €116.9 billion, down 5.7% month-on-month and growing 3% on an annual level.
Exports to the European Union decreased by 1.6% in July compared to June, coming in at €78 billion, while imports declined 6.1% to €59.6 billion. Exports to non-EU countries rose 0.2% month-on-month to €...
