Mumbai, Nov. 2 -- China's Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) landed at 49.3 in October, going down from September's 50 and moving into contraction territory, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said.
The official non-manufacturing PMI also shrank, declining from 50.5 seen in the previous month to 49.7 in October.
