Mumbai, Aug. 17 -- China's industrial production growth slowed to 4.5% YoY in July from 5.3% in June, amid weak domestic demand and extreme weather disruptions. Manufacturing growth eased to 5.5%, while mining output contracted 4.2%. However, computers and communications equipment surged 19.1% and automotive production rose 8.7%. For the first seven months, industrial output expanded 5.3%, pointing to continued but moderating momentum in China's manufacturing sector.
