Mumbai, June 16 -- China's fixed-asset investment contracted 4.1% YoY in Jan-May 2026, worsening from a 1.6% decline in the first four months, as the property sector downturn deepened. Property investment fell 16.2%, while growth in infrastructure and manufacturing investment slowed further. Monthly fixed-asset investment dropped 1.91% in May.
