Mumbai, June 2 -- Australia's private house approvals dipped 0.1% month-on-month to 10,088 units in April 2026, marking the first decline since November and reversing March's modest increase. Weakness in New South Wales and Western Australia outweighed gains in Victoria, Queensland, and South Australia. On a yearly basis, approvals rose 7%, though the pace of growth slowed from the previous month's 12.4% increase.
