Mumbai, Sept. 15 -- Precious metals speculators marginally cut their net long positions in the Silver futures markets last week after recent declines, according to the latest Commitment of Traders (COT) data released by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The non-commercial futures contracts of Silver futures, traded by large speculators, hedge funds and retailers, totaled a net position of 26049 contracts in the data reported through September 8, 2026. This was a weekly decline of 690 net contracts and pulled up net longs lower from two-month high.
