Mumbai, Aug. 3 -- Precious metals speculators further reduced their net long positions in the Silver futures markets last week, according to the latest Commitment of Traders (COT) data released by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The non-commercial futures contracts of Silver futures, traded by large speculators, hedge funds and retailers, totaled a net position of 22217 contracts in the data reported through July 28, 2026. This was a weekly fall of 1248 net contracts and pulled them to seven-week low.
