Mumbai, June 1 -- Precious metals speculators cut their net long position in the Gold futures, according to the latest Commitment of Traders (COT) data released by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The non-commercial futures contracts of Gold futures, traded by large speculators, hedge funds and retailers, totaled a net position of 154260 contracts in the data reported through May 26, 2026, sliding by 5573 contracts from the previous week. The net longs have eased from near three- and half-month highs.
