Mumbai, July 20 -- Base metal speculators nominally increased their longs in the Copper futures market, according to the latest Commitment of Traders (COT) data released by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The non-commercial futures contracts of Copper futures, traded by large speculators and hedge funds and retailers totalled a net long position of 64385 contracts in the data reported through July 14, 2026, edging higher by 113 contracts though it still hovers around two-month low.
