Mumbai, Oct. 9 -- COMEX copper is up more than 1% on Friday morning in Asia as dollar pulled back considerably amid retraction in US treasury yields and easing oil prices. Asian markets are mixed on Friday, following the mixed cues from Wall Street overnight, on renewed spike in crude oil prices amid ongoing attacks on tankers in the Middle East and concerns about hurricane-related production disruption in the Gulf of Mexico. Reports suggest that US President Donald Trump and his national security team have discussed resuming large-scale military operations in Iran. Currently, the red metal is quoting at $6.64 per pound.
