Mumbai, May 8 -- Axis Bank Ltd fell 1.4% today to trade at Rs 1274.3. The BSE BANKEX index is down 0.75% to quote at 62627.54. The index is down 0.12 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, HDFC Bank Ltd decreased 1.25% and Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd lost 0.98% on the day. The BSE BANKEX index went up 1.43 % over last one year compared to the 3.58% fall in benchmark SENSEX. Axis Bank Ltd has lost 4.39% over last one month compared to 0.12% fall in BSE BANKEX index and 0.13% drop in the SENSEX.
