Mumbai, July 16 -- Kharif sowing could see tepid progress in near term following a decent recovery over last few days as monsoon progress is erratic. India Meteorological Department or IMD has stated in a latest update that under the influence of low-pressure area over northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining north Odisha -West Bengal coasts, enhanced rainfall activity with isolated heavy falls over East & Northeast India, East Uttar Pradesh and Western Himalayan Region during next 7 days.
