Waiyaki family loses fight for Nyari apartments
Nairobi, Aug. 16 -- The family of former Foreign Affairs minister Munyua Waiyaki has been ordered to surrender four apartments in Nyari it unlawfully took from buyers before renting them out during a protracted dispute.
Rosslyn House Ltd and Rosslyn House Management Ltd, which are co-owned by the former minister's kin, have been ordered to surrender the four apartments to their buyers, who had paid for the units in full.
Arbitrator Peter Njeru ruled that the two Rosslyn House firms had no right to hand possession of the apartments to Tribe Hospitality Solutions Ltd for letting to members of the public, without consent of the apartment owners.
