Judge quits Sh18bn dispute between KBC pension scheme and lawyer
Nairobi, Oct. 20 -- An Employment and Labour Relations Court judge, Hellen Wasilwa, has stepped aside from a Sh18.4 billion dispute between the Board of Trustees of the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) Staff Retirement Benefits Scheme and their lawyer, Morara Omoke.
The judge recused herself after Mr Omoke applied, alleging a denial of fair hearing, although she found no evidence supporting his claim of judicial bias.
