Nairobi, April 10 -- Jamii Telecommunications' Faiba has cemented its dominance in Kenya's fixed internet market, posting a sharp jump in speeds and overall performance to overtake previous leader Telkom, the latest industry rankings show.

Fresh data from French internet performance measurement platform nPerf shows Faiba's overall score climbed to 67,150 in the latest assessment period, up from 53,975 a year earlier. This marks the greatest improvement among all providers and pushes the service provider to the top of the table.

The nPerf score, expressed in nPoints, is a metric designed to reflect the average user's experience of an internet connection.
