Nairobi, April 8 -- Kenyan fast-moving consumer goods manufacturing company Haco Industries is set to begin operations in Ghana by the end of April 2026 as part of its strategy to expand into West Africa.
Haco said it will enter the West African market through a joint venture with an undisclosed Ghanaian firm to distribute its goods there.
"We are not investing in factories and in equipment. That is where the money comes in, it's a very lean business model, so I am not going to give you a figure," Haco Industries Managing Director Mary-Ann Musangi told Business Daily.
Haco specialises in producing and distributing personal care products, home care products and plastics, including toys.
