Nairobi, April 30 -- Flame Tree Group (FTG) expects its profits for the financial year ended December 2025 to drop significantly by at least 25 percent, reversing the profitability from the previous year.
The company, which had posted a net profit of Sh201.8 million in the last financial year, disclosed that it expected to dip back into loss territory without the one-off insurance income that had propelled it to profitability in the last financial year.
The listed diversified manufacturer and trading firm had relied on a non-recurring insurance income accrual of Sh293.5 million to report a profit, up from a loss position of Sh74.6 million in the prior year.
