Nairobi, April 6 -- Home appliance and consumer electronics manufacturer, VisionPlus Kenya, has integrated insect-repelling features across its range of products, including smart television sets, to curb electronic malfunctions related to biological waste.

VisionPlus, a local assembler for smart televisions and audio entertainment systems, is seeking to guard households from hardware failures - such as motherboard short circuits and speaker coil corrosion - caused by insect infestations seeking warmth and shelter inside electronic housings.
