Carrefour Kenya's revenue grows by Sh5bn amid expansion
Nairobi, Sept. 12 -- Carrefour Kenya grew its revenues by 167 million United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED) or Sh5.89 billion last year revealing the impact of the retailer's growing footprint in East Africa's biggest economy.
Disclosures by Majid Al Futtaim, the Dubai-based operator of the retailer shows that Carrefour Kenya made revenues of AED 1.386 billion (Sh48.84 billion) in the period under review compared to AED 1.219 billion (Sh42.95 billion) in 2024.
The revenue growth highlights Carrefour Kenya's deepening market share locally at the back of increased footprint as the retailer intensifies competition on Naivas and Quickmart.
