Western Disturbance to Trigger Fresh Spell of Rain in J&K From July 11
Srinagar, July 10 -- Jammu and Kashmir is likely to experience a fresh spell of rainfall from July 11 as a new Western Disturbance approaches the region, bringing wet weather to several areas over the next two days. According to the latest weather assessment, the upcoming system is expected to draw moisture from the Arabian Sea. Although it is likely to be less intense than the recent weather event, it may still produce intermittent rain across many parts of the Union Territory. Forecasters said scattered showers are expected at several places between July 11 and 12, while a few locations could witness short periods of heavy rainfall.
