June 14, June 15 -- Continuing the drive against illegal mining and transportation of minerals, a joint team of Police Post Old Town & Geology & Mining Department Baramulla conducted enforcement operations in the Old Town area. During the operation, one mini tipper carrying sand without the requisite valid documents was intercepted and seized. In a separate action, another tipper bearing registration number JK02CS-9512 was also seized for transporting sand without valid authorization documents.
