Jammu, Aug 23, Aug. 24 -- The security forces launched a massive search operation after a suspected Pakistan-origin drone was sighted along the International Border (IB) in Kathua district on Sunday. The drone-like object was seen hovering over forward villages in Bobiyan area of Hiranagar sector around 10.35 am, officials said.After few minutes, the suspected drone was seen receding towards Pakistan, they said.Subsequently, security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to rule out the possibility of any payload -- narcotics or weapons -- being airdropped.Sources said during the day long operation, nothing objectionable was recovered during the operation.The security personnel also conducted aerial surveillance of ...
