Srinagar, July 22, July 22 -- Vehicular movement on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) was suspended from both ends on Wednesday morning after incessant rainfall triggered landslides, mudslides, and shooting stones at multiple vulnerable locations along the highway. According to the Traffic Police, traffic was stopped at around 9:30 a.m. as continuous rain made travel unsafe across several stretches of the highway. Authorities have advised commuters to avoid travelling on NH-44 until weather conditions improve and the road is declared safe for vehicular movement.
