Srinagar, Sept. 7 -- Traffic Police Srinagar has imposed restrictions on several routes today as the first International Film Festival of Jammu and Kashmir opens at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC). The advisory comes into effect from 4 PM, when a large movement of guests, participants and invitees towards SKICC is expected. General traffic will not be allowed on Gupkar Road between 4 PM and 7 PM. Only invitees, participants, VVIPs and festival staff will be permitted to use the route during this period. At Badyari Chowk and Brein Chowk, traffic heading towards SKICC and Nehru Park will also be restricted, except for hotel guests and local residents.
