Srinagar, Sept. 6 -- Traffic Police has announced diversions and restrictions in Srinagar for September 7 as the International Film Festival of Jammu and Kashmir is set to open at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC). A large number of participants, guests and invitees are expected to attend the inauguration, prompting authorities to anticipate increased traffic towards SKICC after 4 PM. As per the advisory, general traffic will not be permitted on Gupkar Road between 4 PM and 7 PM on September 7. The route will remain open only to invitees, participants, VVIPs and staff associated with the festival.
